On April 17, the EU Delegation led by the Special Representative for Central Asia Terhi Hakala visited Topchubashov Center. During the meeting with the center's Director Rusif Huseynov and Research Fellow Mahammad Mammadov the parties discussed in detail the latest developments in EU-Azerbaijan relations, Azerbaijan's growing geoeconomic significance for a larger EU presence in Central Asia, and other regional security dynamics. Against the background of the changing power realities in the region, the sides also emphasized the importance of constructive steps to take advantage of new opportunities in matters of mutual interest.
