On 13 February, the director of Topchubashov Center, Rusif Huseynov, delivered a lecture at an international event entitled "Together in Sports held in Guba, Azerbaijan, and attended by students from Turkic countries.

In his lecture "Sport as soft power", Huseynov talked about the potential of sport in the international arena, in areas such as politics, media and business, and the soft power it plays.

The event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Organization of Turkic States and the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sports. Students from 6 Turkic countries participated in the international event.
