Rusif Huseynov participates in conference on "Azerbaijan as a Middle Power"
On 24 June 2026, Rusif Huseynov, Topchubashov Center Director, participated in “Azerbaijan as a Middle Power: Foreign Policy, Regional Influence, and Global Engagement” conference organized by the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center).
As part of the conference, Rusif Huseynov spoke at the first panel discussion, “The Concept of Middle Power and the Azerbaijani Experience,” where he shared his views on Azerbaijan’s foreign policy priorities, its role in regional processes, and its growing influence within the international system.
The panel featured an exchange of views on the theoretical foundations of the middle power concept, Azerbaijan’s experience in this context, as well as the country’s increasing role at both the regional and global levels.
The conference concluded with a question-and-answer session and extensive discussions among the participants.
