On 16 December, Topchubashov Center`s researchers Mahammad Mammadov and Simona Scotti attended the yearly ASIAC (Association for the Study of Central Asia and the Caucasus in Italy) conference at La Sapienza University in Rome, delivering their speeches in a panel on conflict and security in the South Caucasus. Mr. Mammadov discussed the implications of the opening of the Yeraskh-Julfa-Meghri-Horadiz railroad, while Ms. Scotti discussed the perceptions of Azerbaijani and Armenian stakeholders on the Russian and EU mediation.
